World Championships All Around
The results from the three official disciplines (Straight-Line + Spiral
+ Vault) in the All Around Competition are added together to give
an All Around score. The winner of each competition category (junior
girls/boys, senior women/men) is the World All Around Champion in
that category.
All Around World Championships
Each participating country may register a maximum
of one team consisting of 4-6 gymnasts (junior/senior,
male/female). The three best teams (on the basis of the team members'
scores in the individual disciplines of the All Around Competition)
then compete for the title of World Team Champion in the Team Final.

In the Team Final 8 routines are performed in
the three disciplines Straight-Line, Spiral and Vault: |

- 3 x Straight-Line zu music
- 2 x Spiral
- 2 x Vault
- free choice of discipline (Straight-Line, Spiral or Vault)
- A maximum of two team members may perform up to three
routines in different disciplines

The lowest of the individual scores for each team will be
dropped from the overall team score. |

| |
All gymnasts registered as team members must compete
in their specified team discipline(s) in the All Around Competition.

| |
The competition rules are regulated by the IRV and available
on the IRV home page. We draw your attention to the fact that
the Vault and Spiral regulations have been revised as from 1
January 2008 !
